Over Half of People Oppose Bank Strike: KIS Survey
합병하기로 한 국민, 주택은행 파업에 반대
Over half of the nation' people are *surveyed to oppose the ongoing labor strike of two healthy banks, which were declared merger last Friday.

국민 절반 이상이 지난 금요일 합병이 발표된 두 우량 은행의 노조 파업에 반대하고 있는 것으로 조사 결과 나타났다.
Nearly half of the people believe that the second financial
restructuring will have to be made at a faster pace.
또한 국민의 절반 정도는 2차 금융 구조조정의 속도가 더 빨리 진행되어야 한다고 생각하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다.
These are *revealed in a survey by private opinion poll researcher, Research & Research on 1,024 selected persons aged 20 years or older nationwide, *commissioned by the Government Information Agency.

In the survey, 55.2 0 percent of the polled said that they do not *support the strike of Kookmin Bank and the Housing & Commercial Bank (H&CB), against 43.4 percent who supported the strike.

조사에 따르면 43.4%는 국민은행과 주택은행의 파업을 지지하는 반면
55.2%는 지지하지 않는 것으로 나타났다.
About the speed of the financial restructuring, 49.5 percent *replied that the financial restructuring should be faster and 25.3 percent replied that the restructuring should be made at the current pace.
Only 20.7 percent said that the pace should be slower than now.

금융 구조조정의 속도에 대해 49.5%는 더 빠르게 진행되어야 한다고
답했으며 25.3%는 현재의 속도가 적당하다고 답했고 20.7%만이 현재보다 더 느리게 진행되어야 한다고 응답했다.
As many as 79.1 percent of the questioned said that they have
agreed to the necessity of the financial and corporate restructuring against 20.3 percent who oppose the restructuring. Eighty-two percent replied that the financial restructuring would contribute to the economic recovery and foreign confidence to Korean economy.
응답자 가운데 79.1%는 금융 및 기업 구조조정의 필요성에 동의한 반면 20.3%는 구조조정에 반대한다고 답했다. 82%는 금융 부문의 구조조정은 경기 회복과 한국 경제의 대외 신인도에 공헌할 것이라고 응답했다.
